The letter below is from Mr Meier, He invited chinese student to join a party for Chinese spring festival.

For the coming new year, the year of the tiger, I wish you all the best. Especially a successful continuation of your work and good health.
I am pleased to inform you that I am planing during this year three excursions for the chinese Ph.D. students. The corresponding programs are in progress and I will inform you when these programs and the exact dates of the visits are fixed. The companies we are going to visit are Novartis, ABB and Alstom. For each visit about 20 to 25 Ph.D.students can participate. It is anticipated that those students should be given preference which work on a thesis which corresponds to the activities we are going to visit. This gives the participants a good opportunity to come into contact with the companies scientists.
Now I would like to inform you that a special closing event of the spring festival is planned for chinese persons and families living in and around Zürich. This event will be organised by the catholic parish of the Liebfrauen-church in Zürich. It will take place on Saturday the 20. February from 19.00 hours until 22.30 hours at the parish localities Zehnderweg 9 (near the Liebfrauen-church) in Zürich.
The program, which should lead to a happy gathering, presents the following highlights:
- chinese music with guqin played by Angela Ruan Ling from Treviso Italy.
- chinese sketches and performances
- chinese film in chinese language
- buffet and drinks
- a small surprise at the end of the festival.
The students and scholars from ACSSZ are cordialy invited to participate at this spring festival. The organizer would very much appreciate if from the side of the chinese students sketches and performances could be presented. This would surely contribut to a full success of this event.
